Four bidding for FG Presidency nomination

All Fine Gael presidential hopefuls will be out in force this weekend in an effort to persuade members of the party to give them their votes.

Four people are vying for the Fine Gael nomination.

They are MEPs Mairead McGuinness and Gay Mitchell, former MEP Avril Doyle and the former President of the European Parliament Pat Cox.

The Fine Gael party will choose its candidate for the presidential race on July 9.
