Cleaning service accused of overcharging 'doctored log entries', court told

The High Court has heard that the log entries of a cleaning service accused of overcharging a client appear to have been doctored.

Gina Farrell's cleaning business is being sued by Hollybrook Management Company Limited who she claims is run by developer Sean Dunne, and that he has a vendetta against her.

Hollybrook wants €120,000 damages from Gina Farrell's cleaning business.

It claims that is how much her firm made from overcharging, double payments and interest on bills for cleaning services provided at an apartment complex managed by Hollybrook in Foxrock, Dublin between 2003 and 2006.

Hollybrook director Thomas Martin told the court today that when he managed to secure the relevant logs, each book had been razored from the spine, pages where missing and entries appeared to have been altered in a different handwriting.

He said in many instances the letter "s" was added to the word cleaner so as to make it plural.

Gina Farrell of Dangan Park, Kimmage Road West denies all the allegations and claims they arise from a link to Sean Dunne who she maintains has a vendetta against her.
