Garda probe into shooting of gang boss stalls
Gardaí have told an inquest into the shooting of gang boss, Martin 'Marlo' Hyland, and an innocent plumber who was also killed in the same attack, that their investigation has stalled.
The Finglas-based criminal was targeted by two gunmen who also shot Anthony Campbell who was working in the house in December 2006.
Dublin County Coroners Court heard today how Gardaí carried out more than 800 inquiries and arrested fourteen people, but that the investigation cannot continue without new information.
The court was told investigators have no definite line of inquiry, but that some suspects in the case are still alive.
