People injured in Belfast sectarian clashes

A number of people have been injured in sectarian clashes in east Belfast.

Gangs of masked men attacked homes in the Short Strand area and hurled missiles at residents and police last night.

Riot police were called in to try to stop the fighting and one armoured vehicle was set on fire.
