PSNI appeal for information on Lurgan attack

Police in the North are appealing for information following a violent incident in Lurgan, Co. Armagh yesterday.

At around 8.15pm yesterday evening, three males - two with masks over their faces - entered a house in the Woodville Gate area.

One of the men, who was armed with a gun, punched the male householder in the head.

The two other intruders walked further into the house, from where the woman of the house managed to escape.

The three males then made off, possibly in a getaway car.
