Man remanded in connection with Santry killing

A man in his 50s has been remanded in custody after an appearance in a Dublin court over a fatal shooting in Dublin last week.

He was charged under the Firearms Act and will appear again before Cloverhill District Court, next Friday.

Eddie Flanagan (aged 49) from Primrose Grove in Coolock, died after he was shot in an apartment at The Green, Larch Hill in Santry.

A hand gun was found close to the scene, and a man was held for questioning for two days, after attending a Garda station on Thursday.
