Dublin woman expresses delight after Double lung transplant

A Dublin woman says the world "is officially her oyster", nearly three weeks after undergoing pioneering surgery.

Becky Jones, 20, from Castleknock became the first patient in the world to have a double lung transplant while suffering from a condition called Aspergillosis.

She was airlifted from Dublin to Manchester on May 29 when she got the call that the operation was to go-ahead.

She is now recovering well and is enjoying going out to lunch and going shopping, which she could not do before the surgery.
