Yacht rescued off Cork coast

Two Danish men in their 60s were brought safely to shore this morning after their yacht got into difficulties off the west Cork coast.

Two Danish men in their 60s were brought safely to shore this morning after their yacht got into difficulties off the west Cork coast.

The 36ft yacht had left the Azores 11 ago and was headed for Kinsale when it got into distress 28 miles south-west of Baltimore and called for assistance in the early hours of this morning.
