Five held in Kildare crime swoop

Five men have been arrested and two firearms seized after gardaí stopped two cars in Co Kildare in the early hours of this morning.

The operation took place in Kill at approximately 1am and was part of ongoing garda investigations into organised crime, gardaí said.
