Thousands sign Lenihan books of condolence

An online book of condolence has been set up for people around the country to pay their respects to former Finance Minister Brian Lenihan, who lost his battle with pancreatic cancer on Friday.

It can be found on the Fianna Fáil website at www.fiannafail.ie and will remain open until the end of the week.

It comes as up to 9,000 people signed books of condolence yesterday outside his constituency office in Castleknock in Dublin.

Preparations are ongoing today for the funeral mass of Mr. Lenihan, which will take place on Tuesday.
