The funeral details have been announced for the former Finance Minister Brian Lenihan, who died yesterday at the age of 52.

The funeral details have been announced for the former Finance Minister Brian Lenihan, who died yesterday at the age of 52.

The Fianna Fáil Deputy Leader had been suffering with pancreatic cancer for the past 18 months, after being diagnosed with in December 2009.

The former Finance Minister died in the early hours of yesterday morning at his home in West Dublin.

His body will lie in repose from 10am on Monday at Jennings Funeral Home, Main Street, Blanchardstown Village.

Removal will be on Monday evening to St Mochta's Church, Porterstown, arriving at 6pm.

His funeral will then take place on Tuesday at 11am.

He will be laid to rest afterwards in St David's church graveyard, Kilsallaghan.

A book of condolence for Mr Lenihan will be opened this afternoon at his constituency office in Castleknock.
