Taoiseach to chair first North-South Ministerial Council meeting
The Taoiseach Enda Kenny will lead his first meeting of the North-South Ministerial Council today on day 94 of the coalition.
It will be the first meeting of the Council since the elections here and in Stormont.
Economic recovery North and South is expected to top the agenda, with both sides using today to set out priorities and reiterate cross-border cooperation.
Yesterday, British Prime Minister David Cameron indicated support for allowing the North to lower their corporation tax rate in response to political calls in Stomont for greater competitiveness with the South.
