Naked Adventurer: I'll be back

The Naked Adventurer is promising to return to the open seas next year and complete his journey.

Thirty-year-old Keith Whelan from Co Kildare was rescued off the coast of Australia on Tuesday.

He had suffered a head injury which needed treatment and disrupted his attempt to become the youngest man to row solo across the Indian ocean.

The events manager said he decided to complete the challenge in aid of the HIV/AIDS charity 'Keep a Child Alive' while naked to avoid chafing.
