Kenny to raise interest rate cut at next EU summit
Taoiseach Enda Kenny has said that he will now raise the issue of an interest rate reduction on Ireland's bailout at the next European summit, saying it is "unfair" that the matter is dragging on.
The Taoiseach came under fire in the Dáil after Finance Minister Michael Noonan admitted yesterday the rate reduction might now only be worth €150m to €200m, as a huge portion of the bailout has already been drawn down at the higher rate.
