Shell protesters celebrate 10 years of resistance against gas pipeline
People opposed to the construction of Shell pipeline in Rossport, Co Mayo say they have been protesting for a decade, and are marking the occasion this weekend with a 'Party Against The Pipe'.
Music acts performing at the party are calling for "all-out solidarity for the people of Rossport and surrounding areas".
Spokeswoman Nancy Serrano said the 35 musical acts were there for the weekend "to celebrate 10 years of resistance by the local community to Shell's project there".
