A 47-year-old man has appeared in court charged with assault following a shooting at a shop in Co Mayo on Tuesday.

A 47-year-old man has appeared in court charged with assault following a shooting at a shop in Co Mayo on Tuesday.

Vincent O'Donnell of Knocknabrone, Mayo Abbey appeared before Ballina District Court charged in connection with the shooting of Dympna Walsh at a Costcutters in Balla.
