Bank Holiday drivers warned to drive with care

As the mass exodus gets underway for the Bank Holiday weekend, motorists are being advised to watch their speed, avoid talking on phiones while driving and not to drink and drive.

Gardaí say they will be out in force over the long weekend, which is traditionally a more dangerous time. There will be checkpoints across the country.
