Boy recovering after life-saving brain surgery

The father of a two-year-old boy who underwent life-saving brain surgery in New York says his son is recovering well.

Liam Heffernan from Castledrum, Keel, Co. Kerry suffers from Battens Disease.

The rare and fatal disorder claimed the life of Liam's older sister Saoirse in January.
