Gardaí hunt burglars who break into solicitor's home

Gardaí are searching for four masked men who stole jewellery during a burglary at a home of celebrity solicitor Gerald Keane in Co Wicklow at around 8pm last night.

Gerald's fiancee Lisa Murphy, was in the house at Three Mile Water, Brittas Bay when the gang, one of whom was armed with a knife, threatened her before making off with a number of items of jewellery.

Lisa was tied up and threatened by the gang who made off with a number of items of jewellery with a substantial value, among the items taken were two engagement rings.

Gardaí are now appealing for anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area last night or over the past week to contact them.
