An Irish climber who lost his life on Mount Everest will be remembered at a service today.

An Irish climber who lost his life on Mount Everest will be remembered at a service today.

Forty-one-year-old John Delaney from Laois died after he collapsed 50 metres from the summit at the weekend, without knowng his wife had given birth to their baby girl. The couple also had two young boys.

A memorial service will be held at St Brigid's Church in Ballinakill at 2pm.
