Gardaí make arrest in connection with Maynooth suspect device

Gardaí have arrested a man after the discovery of an Improvised Explosive Device in Maynooth, Co Kildare on Monday.

The man in his sixties was arrested today in Longford.

He is being detained at Longford Garda Station under section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
