INMO calls for law to stop pension levy being passed onto nurses

The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation wants new laws brought in to ensure that companies which look after some of its members pensions do not pass on the newly introduced levy.

The 0.6% tax is provided for under the Government's recently announced jobs initiative.

But INMO spokesperson Dave Hughes has said workers should not tolerate any such attempt by their pension fund administrators.
