A small protest has taken place close to Croke Park by people opposed to Queen Elizabeth's State visit.

Around 30 members of Republican Sinn Féin staged the demonstration on Dorset Street.

Twenty people appeared in court last night on public order offences following clashes with Gardaí yesterday.

However, today's protest passed off without incident.
