Army declares Dublin device a hoax

A suspicious device found in Fairview Park in Dublin earlier has been declared a hoax.

A controlled explosion was carried out, but the scene has been declared safe and the road nearby has reopened.

Meanwhile, investigations are continuing into the discovery of a pipe bomb on a bus in Maynooth in Co Kildare late last night.
