Garda Ombudsman to investigate Limerick crash

The Garda Ombudsman is to investigate a serious road crash in Limerick overnight, which has left a young man fighting for his life in hospital.

The man, in his 20s, is believed to have been traveling in a car that was being pursued by gardaí when the vehicle overturned and crashed at Punch's Cross on the south of Limerick city.
