Free family day at Iveagh Gardens today

A free day of fun for families is on offer at the Iveagh Gardens in Dublin today.

Family Day Picnic will celebrate the growing diversity of families in the city, and coincides with International Day of the Family.

The planned activities include arts and crafts workshops, storytelling, fun sports activities and children's entertainers.

The event is organised by 'One Family', a national organisation for one-parent families in Ireland.
