Quinn: Private pensions levy is 'modest'

The Education Minister Ruairi Quinn is reassuring workers this evening that the levy on private pensions is only a temporary measure.

Yesterday, the Government announced it is to tax the pensions of private sector workers by 0.6% each year, for the next four years, in an effort to fund the new jobs initiative.
