Woman dies in single-vehicle accident in Shannon

Gardaí at Shannon are investigating a single-vehicle fatal road accident that occurred at approximately 5am this morning.

The 36-year-old female driver and sole occupant of a car was pronounced dead at scene when her car left the road and collided with a tree.
