Following sales of €3bn of property between October and December last year, the National Assets Management Agency held €837m in cash at the end of 2010, according to its latest report.

By the end of 2010, the group had acquired €71.4bn in toxic loans from five participating institutions, rising to €72.3bn by the end of March this year, an average discount of 58%.
