Ryanair has said it would be open to talks with the Government about buying the State's 25% shareholding in Aer Lingus.

Ryanair has said it would be open to talks with the Government about buying the State's 25% shareholding in Aer Lingus.

An airline spokesperson told the Guardian newspaper that if the Government were selling state assets and it approached Ryanair to discuss the sale of its Aer Lingus stake, the airline would be open to doing so.
