Final day for nominations to contest Green Party leadership
The Green Party leadership contest gets underway today, with Eamon Ryan and Malcolm Noonan the only two names yet in the ring.
Two challengers have so far put their names forward for the party's top job.
Former Minister Eamon Ryan and Kilkenny councillor Malcolm Noonan have declared their intention to run, and have secured the 50 party signatures necessary to be nominated.
Today is the closing date for entries.
