Bus company fire 'was sabotage', company confirms
Dualway bus company has confirmed that a fire at its headquarters earlier in Dublin was an act of sabotage.
Sixteen of the company's fleet of 50 buses were completely destroyed in the blaze which broke out at around 5am at the Rathcoole depot.
Five units of the Dublin fire brigade brought the fire under control shortly after 8am.
An arson investigation is underway and gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
General manager of Dualway David McConn said a number of fires were started this morning, and that the priority was to get coaches back out on the road as soon as possible.
