The N59 Mayo/Sligo road at Mulranny Village is currently closed, following a serious car crash.

The N59 Mayo/Sligo road at Mulranny Village is currently closed, following a serious car crash.

Traffic is heavy on approach coming westbound from Newport.

Gardaí are advising motorists to take an alternative route.

It is not yet known whether or not anyone was seriously injured in the collision.
