Teen charged in connection with Byrne murder

A 17-year-old youth has appeared in court this evening charged with the murder of David Byrne in Dublin last month.

The 19-year-old was killed in the car park of an apartment block in Emmet Court, Inchicore on March 19.

He had been chased by a group of young men before being fatally stabbed.

The 17-year-old was remanded in custody to appear before the Childrens Court on April 28.
