Major drugs find in Meath

Almost €1m worth of drugs have been seized in Co Meath, it has been revealed.

Four kilos of heroin and five kilos of cocaine was found during the search of a premises in Kilmurray in Enfield last night.

A man in his early 40s was arrested and is being held at Leixlip Garda Station under section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.

The search was carried out as part of an ongoing investigation into drugs supply in Meath.
