McCarthy proposes financial unit to implement sale of State assets

Colm McCarthy has said an internal unit at the Department of Finance should be set up, to take the next steps in the sale of State assets.

The UCD economist yesterday published a report outlining recommendations on the sale of more than €5bn worth of state-owned or semi-state companies.
