A new survey has revealed that many drivers still believe speeding or using a mobile phone while behind the wheel is not dangerous.

The Road Safety Authority's study highlights that younger motorists in particular do not appreciate the dangers involved - just 1% of 17- to 24-year-olds questioned rate mobile phone use as "most dangerous".
