Laois gardaí appeal to public for information on Burroughs killing

Gardaí in Co Laois have today appealed for anyone with information in connection with the death of Diane Burroughs to come forward.

Jason Daly (aged 40) of PJ Delaney flats on Main Street in Mountrath has been charged with her murder.

He was remanded in custody until Thursday when he will appear before Cloverhill District Court.

The body of the 30-year-old mother-of-one was found at a flat on Saturday evening.
