Man held following seizure of illicit cigarettes

A man in his 30s has been arrested after customs officers seized about five million cigarettes from a truck in Co Louth this afternoon.

The cigarettes, believed to be counterfeit, were concealed in a consignment of goods described as tins of baked beans that had arrived in Dublin Port from Belgium.
