The Sunday Times reports that the Review Group on State Assets will present a report this week proposing the sale of Dublin, Cork and Shannon airports.

The coalition Government pledged to generate €2bn through the sale of non-strategic state assets in the recently-agreed Programme For Government.

The plans to sell the airports will be a major test of the unity of the new Government however, as Labour ministers will be under pressure to resist the sale.
