Dutch police search for missing Irishman

Police in the Netherlands are searching for a 36-year-old Irishman who has been missing since early last Wednesday morning.

Paul Nolan Miralles has been living in Amsterdam for a decade and works in the city's Hard Rock Cafe.

He was last seen in the early hours of Wednesday morning, on the way home from a night out with friends.

Members of Paul's family have travelled to Amsterdam, and are appealing for any information from the public that could help in the search.

The Department of Foreign Affairs is providing consular assistance to the family and the Irish Embassy in The Hague is liaising with the Amsterdam police.
