Two men who were arrested in connection with the murder of former Sinn Féin member Denis Donaldson have been released without charge.

A file has been prepared for the DPP.

Mr Donaldson, who was an informer for British Intelligence, was shot dead in his home in Co Donegal in April 2006, just months after being expelled from Sinn Féin.
