Taoiseach open to debt forgiveness for some homeowners

Taoiseach Enda Kenny has today hinted the Government may be willing to allow debt forgiveness for some struggling homeowners.

Yesterday, the executive chairman of Allied Irish Banks revealed that the institution would consider debt forgiveness for some mortgage holders in danger of default.
