Gardaí arrest man after seizing gun and cocaine

A man has been arrested in connection with a drugs and weapon seizure in Dublin.

He was detained after Gardaí investigating the sale and supply of drugs in Tallaght searched a premises in the Donomore Park area yesterday.

Up to €21,000 worth of cocaine was found along with a gun and ammunition.

The man in his 40's was arrested and is being held at Tallaght Garda station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.

He is due to appear at Tallaght District Court tomorrow.
