Man arrested after firearm found in Tralee house

A man has been arrested in Tralee in Co Kerry after a firearm was found in a house in the town.

The sawn-off shotgun was discovered after a house was searched as part of a planned operation.

A man in his twenties was arrested and is being detained under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act at Tralee garda station.
