Locals raise money for fuel used in search for missing fishermen

A fifth day of searching will begin this morning for the two fishermen missing off Skerries in North Dublin.

Twenty-six-year-old Ronan Browne and 41-year-old David Gilsenan were last seen as they left Skerries to check lobster pots last Friday afternoon.

The local community in Skerries has organised a fundraising walk tonight to help pay for fuel for the RNLI boats that are continuing the search for the missing men.

The walk begins at the bandstand, Red Island in Skerries at 7pm.
