Rescuers to resume search for missing fishermen

The search for two fishermen, who have been missing since Friday, is resuming this morning.

Twenty-six-year-old Ronan Browne and 41-year-old David Gilsenen failed to return to Skerries harbour in Dublin after a lobster fishing trip on Friday.

Today's operation will include Coastguard, the Gardaí, and RNLI lifeboat crews, with operations set to begin around 7am.

A land search will also be carried out.

It had been hoped that local fishing boats and pleasure crafts would be able to assist the operation today, however poor weather conditions could make that more difficult.
