Union boss seeks meeting with Noonan over bank workers

The General Secretary of Congress, David Begg, has sought a meeting with the Finance Minister Michael Noonan to clarify the employment implications of the bank restructuring outlined yesterday.

The Minister confirmed just two banks will operate at the end of the process in which EBS will be merged with Allied Irish Banks.
