Shatter announces review of €45m spend on proposed jail

The Justice Minister Alan Shatter has described as scandalous the amount of money already spent on the proposed prison at Thornton Hall in North Dublin.

Mr Shatter has announced a review of the project will begin next week and be completed by the summer.
