Post mortem to take place tomorrow on Clare body

A post mortem on the body of the woman found in Clare this morning will take place tomorrow morning.

The body of the woman was found by a walker near the shore at Fanore Strand, near Ballyvaughan.

Searches have been carried out in the area in recent days, after the disappearance of 43-year-old Deirdre McCarthy last Sunday night.

It is believed the body found is that of the missing woman.
